This methodology¹ ranks publications in the research portfolio using AHP to define criteria weights and Weitendorf ratios to normalize and classify relevance.
Step 1 - Define the Criteria
Enter the criteria names used to rank the articles. You can use from 3 to 5 criteria.
Step 2 - Pairwise Comparison
The goal of this step is deriving criteria weights. To determine the relative importance of each selected criterion, compare them in pairs. For each pair, indicate which criterion is more important—or if they are equally important—and rate the strength of that preference using the AHP scale.
AHP Scale: (1) equal importance, (3) moderate, (5) strong, (7) very strong, (9) extreme importance (2, 4, 6, 8 are intermediate values).
